Hooray!! February is almost over!! I wish I could say spring is on its way, but I know that March will bring much of the same. Its just too bad that we still get so much snow in March. I wish it would all just melt and we could just get rain. I'm sick of all the ice and snow.....and so are my kids!! Ty asked me to play bubbles the other day while we were outside and I so wish I could start bringing out more of my outdoor toys. My kids are just plain bored!!
Courtney is really talking now!! She uses short phrases, but still mostly a string of single words. She talks constantly and repeats everything we say!! Some of the things she says most often, or are just plain cute are:
Hi! How you?? (How are you?)
She will ask for something (soo soo, anna, elsa, cinderella, rapunz (rapunzel), mcqueen, mater, stickers, etc.) Where did it go? I find it!!
Bye!! Love you!!
Thank you! Your welcome!
(She is so polite. She always says thank you and and now she picked up, your welcome!?! Most adorable kid ever!!)
She sings head, shoulders, knees, and toes with me.
She loves Old McDonald. She says, Farmer! E I E I O!! Cow!! Moo! (Once you suggest another animal, she will do its sounds too). She will only sing this song while running around the island. Haha!
The other day we were playing in the playroom and she said, I need a snack! Snack! All Done!! Clean up!! Then she started cleaning up! Haha!
If she gets in trouble, she will repeat what you said, like No Touch! Then she knows she is in trouble and she will say, I'm sorry! Hugs!
She has started to memorize some of the books I read her and will read them to herself. She reads, love you forever and says, Back and Forth! Love you Forever, Grow and grow and grow! She also reads her McQueen book and the hungry caterpillar. Most of her other books she knows all of the character names and will tell you what they all are. She just recently learned all the dwarfs from Snow White! Smart cookie!
She will put her princesses to sleep in their castle and then say, sleeping! Quiet! And she even whispers it.
She is learning her letters and her colors and can count to 10, sometimes 12.
She is so adorable and has a huge personality! I love her to bits!
Ty is also talking more and more. He is using longer sentences sometimes and recently has gotten much better and using words to ask us for things instead of just dragging us over to something. Much improved!!

Ty made a little buddy at the treehouse! They were so cute and worked so well together to build towers! And his little buddy was just like Ty, he spoke in English and gibberish!! Two peas in a pod!

Ty loves this dinosaur show about a boy and his bucket of dinosaurs. I found a bucket and dinosaurs set online and got it for Ty. It was actually pretty lame, but Ty thought it was the real deal and it was adorable! I loved watching him play dino world and carry his bucket around. This is a picture of Ty jumping into dino world. Ty believed, and that's what made it special.

Court loves sport ball.....she has snuck in a little early....She loves the warm up exercises and the popcorn part! This last week she was really following along and listening to the coach really well! I was super impressed! Once they start the sports skills, she kinda checks out, but she liked running around with her hockey stick!
