Hello 2017!! January is finally over - which means I am anxiously waiting for spring to finally come!! Over winter break and January we have been busy having fun and making memories!
After Christmas I booked myself to go and get a hair cut and my sweet husband added a pedicure to my appointment! It was nice to have a super relaxing afternoon doing nothing!
Pretty toes! The next day Brock and I actually went out for the entire afternoon for our anniversary - and it was awesome!
I love watching Courtney play with her new kitchen. She loves being able to bake in the oven and use her fridge and cupboards.

Playing with funny filters on snapchat. I actually have no idea how to use snapchat and can only seem to get images saved to my phone if I do a screenshot - oh well. Its still super fun. Plus - with filters your hair can be a total mess and you can wear no make-up and still look super cute!

I love my new long side bangs! Makes me feel way less bald - I have a really high hairline and sometimes I feel like I have no hair! Also- I'm a big fan of the "pretty filter" and now I have a hard time liking selfies without it. Its super funny that snapchat prefers to make my eyes super super green - they are no where near that green, they are a pretty strong hazel.

Winter break was actually super mellow. Ty got an ear infection and the weather got really cold - so we opted to stay in, work on getting better, and doing lots of crafts. My parents got Ty a huge arts and crafts kit for Christmas, which came in super handy. We did a lot of the crafts out of there. These paper bag puppets were one of my favorites. So cool!

The cutest thing about snapchat is how much Ty loves playing on it! I think this is so so great! He makes faces and follows the funny directions to make the screen do funny things - I think its so awesome for him. Look at my 2 cute puppies!

The shirt I ordered at the end of October as a Christmas present from Brock to me finally came around the first weekish of January! I was beyond shocked - and excited!!
I finally looked through the art package that Ty brought home from school before the winter break! So cute!
I love that he is working on writing what his pictures are! Learning to write and spell more words!

Another cold mellow day inside! Playing indoor bowling! The kids thought this was pretty fun!
Ty got in a crafty mood one night and wanted me to help him draw some animals. He wanted me to draw the animal shapes and then he would color them in and I helped him write the animal name. I loved how detailed his coloring was and he loved writing the animal names too! Fun stuff!
Ty and Courtney are obsessed with games lately! They got a couple new ones for Christmas and we have had a lot of fun playing them. Its fun playing games and doing something a little different!

We were kinda feeling better and the weather was finally kinda warmer - so we met up with some friends to go sledding! It was the most fun day! I had planned to only go for like a half hour - and we were out there for a solid hour and I had to drag the kids back to the car to go home!

All of my fun outings with Daddy over Christmas break didn't really pan out due to cold weather and people being sick - finally right before classes went back, we took the kids out to the aquarium. Ty loves it there and was having a special bonding moment with the penguins. He was moving up and down with them as they were diving and they started following him too. So cute!

I had to take a picture of Ty playing with our sensory bin - Ty never plays with sensory bins. Like not at school, not ever. Not his thing. But he will actually play with mine a little bit! (Although I made this months ago and he never touched it until now). He likes my little silo - the popcorn slides out the bottom.

The weather was super warm, so we took advantage and went out sledding again! I went ahead and bought the kids their own little sleds and they loved them! Court had used a little one like this before, but I wasn't sure if Ty would like it - he loved it! So much fun!! And I really enjoy not kneeling on the toboggan - that thing is hard on the knees!

I moved Court up into the big girl dance class - the other one was way to little for her anymore. Court loves going all by herself and is doing so well! She also enjoys working on the bigger girl skills.
