August has been an awesome and busy month!! The kids I got out a lot and had some great play dates with friends. We have been trying to take advantage of every nice day we have, as I know the cold and snow will come soon enough...lame.
Ty has really started to talk up a storm!! He still uses a lot of baby language, but even that is starting to sound more like english...its hard to explain. But even within his baby language, I will hear more real words and he is repeating me a lot more. I am so proud of him!! When I give him his shoes to go somewhere, he will come up to me and say, "Put shoes on". Or he will ask for water or his books that I hide from Courtney. He loves to play dinosaur and yesterday he went up to Brock and said, "Daddy, hear me roar!!" So cute!! I love my little guy! Its hard being patient, but he really is making such great progress. Its coming, slowly, but coming. He also loves to eat in at McDonalds!! The last time that I just grabbed drive-thru, he was so upset and through his tears he said, "I don't want to eat at home.." Poor guy! He is so good when we eat in, so we eat in more now.
Courtney is BUSY!! She is getting into everything!! She loves to climb on everything and sit in bins. She can now climb on the ottoman and the couch - busy!! She is starting to use utensils a bit when she eats. We take turns when eating yogurt, she dips and does one bite and then I give her the next. Super cute! She doesn't have a lot of words yet. Her favorites are Momma, Dadda, car, and hat. She loves putting on hats and jewelry and playing princesses. She tries to say crackers and cookies - but mostly says "crack" - haha! She is really starting to understand!! When I ask the kids if they want to go outside, she jumps up and runs for the backdoor with Ty. She loves Daddy and gets mad when he leaves for work, but gets very excited when he comes home. She loves to dance - but loves it best when I dance with her. I just love my little princess - she is really growing up!!

Beautiful morning at the park!! Ty and Court are both really loving the park right now - Ty is rocking the big kid swings and today he was all over the equipment and even doing the big slide!! Court loves running around, loves the slides, and is starting to climb on some of the equipment too. So fun!!

Brock had a day off so we took the kids to the swimming pool!! It was really fun!! Ty even started to try and float on his back a bit with Brock's help and kicking his feet!! So proud!! No pictures at the pool, obviously, but I took a couple cute pictures of Court in her swimsuit - cause its really cute.

I also took the kids out to the spray park! There is one close by and it isn't even that busy!! Shocking!! The kids were so good, I never felt like I lost anyone, probably because it wasn't too busy, and the kids had a great time! And when we had to go, Ty said, "All done spray park!" We actually went twice and would have gone again this past week, but we all got sick. Lame.

Its been kinda wet lately, so we went out in boots!! Court is rocking Ty's old size 6 boots - a bit big, but she rocked them.
Time for new clothes - coat is getting small and his boots are 1 size too small...next spring.

Court loves her little make-up station! She combs her hair and puts the lipstick on herself, and me! And when the mirror says, "mwa!" She says it right back or comes and gives me a kiss. So sticking cute!
Another fun playdate at the park! Court and Nellie are 6 days apart! I have 2 friends with baby girls that we all had within days of each other! So fun!! I hope they can all be friends!

Ty is really liking pirates lately. I got him this cool costume for Halloween!! I put the hat on him and he said, Pirate!! So that was the winner!!
Brock's Mom got Court this awesome Minnie Mouse costume and I wanted to make sure it will still fit. It fits perfect right now, but since it's a dress, I think we should still be fine in October. I got some really cute shots of her. I kept telling her she was a pretty princess - she loved that! She was kinda mad at me when I made her take it off.
