November!!

I always say that if the snow can hold off until after Halloween that as of December first it can go ahead and do what it needs to do.  Well this year - the weather did not waste any time.  We got a huge dump of snow overnight and had a full backyard by the morning of Nov 1.

Ty is always excited to get outside and play in the snow!

Courtney doing some shoveling.

Making snow angels!

Courtney's preschool was learning about community helpers in November and they made this super cute doctor's kit.  Ty's class also made a very similar craft during their community helpers until in October!  Matching!!  haha!

Courtney rocking out!

Ty's first field trip!!  We went to the CFR's Rodeo Magic day at the rodeo!

Ty all decked out in his cowboy gear provided by the CFR.  He looks so cute!!!

Ty's first time riding a horse and he loved it!!  His favorite thing by far!  He could have done that all morning!

Huge smiles!

Ty did not like the pretend bull riding.....he looks cute in this picture before they started though.

Playing horseshoes!

Ty with his cowboys!  Each kid gets paired with a cowboy to hang out with for the morning.  Ty's cowboys were bull riders!

My cute trick or treaters!  We had such a fun time trick or treating!  The kids had a blast!  Ty was even saying trick or treat and thank you at most houses!  Such a big boy!  We had a fabulous Halloween and can't wait for next year!

Tyson is 7!!

Happy Birthday Tyson!!!

I can't believe that this sweet boy is 7!!  Holy smokes!  When did that happen?!  I am so proud of this guy!  He has had a huge year - starting Grade 1 and he is doing great!  He loves school and is doing so well!  He teachers are so impressed with how well he is participating in all of the lessons and activities.  He also is being given a "Leader in Me" job at school of helping to pick up coats and shoes that get left on the floor.  (I guess he was actually already doing this....haha!  When he would be walking around the school and would see coats on the ground he would stop and hang them back up!  How cute is that!?!)  Ty has also recently been trialing a new speech device and he seems to really be taking to it.  Just this week we have been able to teach him to use the word "I" and he consistently asks "I watch golf" all by himself! So great!  Ty's speech therapist also made Ty a little book to practice answering personal questions about himself and we learned that Ty knows that he is 7 years old, his favorite color is green, and his favorite sport is basketball (I thought it was golf.....but maybe we just don't watch enough basketball....haha!) Ty is doing so so well and I am so proud of this sweet boy!

I took the kids out for lunch on Ty's birthday and McDonald's really came through and made it a party!  They gave him a balloon because it was his birthday and found him a Yoshi toy (his favorite)!  Ty was so happy!  It seriously made his day!

Court with he Princess Peach toy.

Ty with his balloon and Yoshi toy!  That's one happy boy!

After lunch we went to the zoo and all the animals seemed to know it was his birthday - they all wanted to come over and say hi!

Watching the zebras up close - one of Ty's favorites!

We got Ty some cupcakes and sang Happy Birthday to him and he was so so excited!  Such a happy boy!  He truly had the best day!
