Christmas Fun!!

We had a fabulous Christmas this year! It was so nice to have some time as a family to hang out and play with our kids.  Both Tyson and Courtney had a fabulous Christmas and were very spoiled!

Making cookies!!  As always, a favorite of this little boy.  He knew I had made the cookies a few days before and was having a hard time waiting until I had time to do this with him.

Brock's work gave us a turkey for Christmas!  It was my first turkey.  Turned out really well and tasted just like my Mom's, so I must have done it right.

Christmas morning we went over to my parents place.  It was great!  We had an easy brunch and the kids had a lot of fun.  Ty didn't want to go home!

On Boxing Day we decided to head out and try out our new double stroller.  It rocks!  It was so busy at the mall, it was kinda stupid.  But we decided to check out Sea Life Caverns, the small aquarium, which was a big hit with Ty and there was no one down there, so it turned out to be a fun time.

Sea Life Caverns!  Ty loved it!  It was nice to take him to do something kinda just for him.  Ty really liked the sting ray tank.  You can touch them if you want to, but he just like peeking over the edge at them.  I'm looking forward to going to the zoo this summer, I think he will really enjoy it.

My Mom got Courtney this beautiful dress for Christmas.  I love it!  I wish I had more places to go to put her in it, it is too adorable.  The shoes are super cute too!  I love the sparkles. 

This picture turned out so perfect!  I love taking pictures of my kids, especially when they turn out this cute!

In recent weeks, Ty has gotten more and more interested in playing with Courtney.  I love those moments.  This is my favorite so far.  Ty teaching Courtney to place chase around the island.  The best, simply the best.

Courtney is 8 Months!!

December!!

Wow!  December has been a busy month!  I guess as the kids get older it will get more busy, but also a lot more fun!!  We are all looking forward to Christmas this year and have been keeping busy!

Ty went out in the snow!  He loves it, which is good because there is lots!!

Brock got a new job and we were able to attend the kids Christmas party.  It was so fun!  Ty had a blast!  He ran around the entire time!

I can't believe that Christmas will be here next week and that my little girl is already 8 months old!  Time is sure going fast!  I heard a quote somewhere that I really liked, and is quite true, "the days are long, but the years are short".

Love my kids to bits!  But they sure keep me on my toes!!

7 months and Crawling!!

We got snow....a lot of snow.  We went out and played in the first big dump of the season.  This snow actually all melted but we have made up for it since....big time!

Courtney is doing really well with solid food!  She is starting to play with self feeding...a bit.  She mostly plays and sometimes tries to taste it.  Since Ty didn't really do this as a baby i'm still figuring it out.  I think I'm going to stick with the practice foods for a while, until she really starts eating them.  She loves baby food, so that's fine by me.

And just yesterday Courtney took her first crawling steps!!  Getting so big!  She is also starting to try and pull herself up, just onto her knees so far.  Things are going to get busy busy busy!
