January = Hibernation

What a month January has been!! The snow that has fallen this month is unbelievable - and it won't stop!! The weather lady said that we got 2.5 feet in ten days!! Having never lived anywhere else, you would think that I would be used to this, but this truly is crazy - even for Edmonton. On top of the snow, it has been minus 30ish (Celsius people) and at least one member of the family was sick every week since Christmas, including cute little Tyson! At least the weather is giving us a break this week with plus digit temperatures and everyone seems to be over the flu, at least for now!

Poor Brock! I think he almost broke his back shoveling all of the snow - and this was only the start! The snow drift is twice as high as this now!!

With all the snow and no one feeling all that well, Tyson and I hibernated for the month. Yesterday was also Tyson's 3 month birthday which he celebrated with a check up at the doctor. My little chunker is now 15 lbs 7 oz, but only 60 cms long. Basically, he is short and fat!! Here is a taste of what we were up to.

Tyson's First Christmas

After many weeks of waiting, its finally here.....our new computer (and Christmas came too)!! The first couple pictures below are a few to catch you up to Christmas. Tyson has changed so much since October-its really amazing to look back at the photos and see how much he has changed - and grown!!

First Monday Night Football game. Just like his Mommy, loves to fall asleep to the sweet sounds of football on the TV. I think I really only watch the 1st and 4th quarters of games - haha!

I was drying Tyson off from his bath and he decided he could hold onto the towel himself to keep warm. So cute!! Don't look - I'm naked here!!

Tyson's first Christmas was really nice. We spent a quiet night in at Grandma and Gido's house. Tyson slept through all of the present opening - but he had a great time once he woke up.

Welcome Tyson!!

Baby Christmas is finally here!!! Tyson David Lehr was born on October 20, 2010 at 10:45am. He was 8 lbs 4 oz. Tyson was born 11 days early and had a very quick and safe delivery. He is absolutely adorable and we are loving every minute with our little man. Please enjoy some pics from the first 3 weeks below!

10 weeks or less!!

30 weeks!! My pregnancy seems to be going fast and slow at the same time. It doesn't seem that long ago that I found out that I was pregnant, but I am so excited to meet my little man, that these last weeks seem to be dragging by. The weather is turning to fall, which is a very welcome change. The heat was not fun, but I got through it with not too much trouble - and the help of a wonderful air conditioner in our bedroom!! Life saver for sure! If i didn't feel pregnant before, I definitely do now. Its getting harder for me to move around or even just stay comfortable now. The baby moves a lot now, which is a lot of fun!! He rolls around and dances a lot in there - always a welcome and exciting surprise. I'm getting really excited for Baby Christmas as I like to call it. I hope he isn't late!!

26 weeks at 26!!

It's officially birthday week at the Lehr house!! My birthday is on Wednesday (July 28) and Brock is on Sunday (August 1). Lots of cake and treats this week - and a big party at my parents place on Saturday!! Happy Birthday to us!!

A weird coincidence this week is the fact that I am turning 26 and I am 26 weeks pregnant! I of course had to update my pregnancy photo to mark the occasion. 26 weeks also marks the start of the 3rd trimester, so we are officially in the final stretch!! My absolute favorite thing right now is feeling the baby move and kick. I'm feeling him twist, turn, and roll around now, which is very cool. Brock was even able to feel him moving around-a real treat!! He usually will only move for Mom!! I'm pretty huge at this point - and starting to wonder how much bigger I'm going to get-still 3 months to go!

Catching Up

Brock and I are expecting our first child, a boy, on October 31, 2010. Yep - that's Halloween!! I will be 26 weeks on Sunday, and oddly enough, I will be turning 26 on Wednesday-weird!! I have posted some of the baby bump pictures and the ultrasound pictures below.
